escape key needs focus on Dialog to work
in React Dialog, the Dialog or the overlay, need to be focused for the Escape Key to work and close the dialog, whereas in the jQuery Dialog, it works globally without a specific focus...

Hello, Andrey,

The reason why this is not addressed yet is that we want a confirmation on how this is expected to work, because currently when the Dialog is opened clicking anywhere on the page and then clicking escape will close it.

There are two cases here:

1) Clicking outside the page: We think that clicking outside the page and then escape should not close the Dialog as the focus is not on the page.

2) The Dialog is not focused when opened: We can focus the Dialog by default when opened, so clicking escape after that will close it.

Please share how you expect this to behave?

I will be waiting for the feedback and we will proceed with the implementation.

Regards,
Stefan

So, is it that difficult to resolve this issue?

I mean it is commercial library.
