The initial "beta" version of the PivotGrid component is released. More features to follow in the upcoming months.

Hi Balamurugan,

Up to now, the Pivot Grid is not part of our immediate development plans. When we add the implementation of the Pivot Grid to our Roadmap, the status of the feature request will be updated accordingly as well as the Kendo UI for Angular Roadmap article.

Dear Admin,

I see lot of requests to have support for pivot grid with kendo angular 2 but I could not see any roadmap from you guys. We are getting only paid pivot grid in the market from devexpress, sencha vendors. We can not opt for both in the same application. We are really expecting the release plan for support / at least wrapper for it in angular suite.

Hi,

Thank you for all the feedback and support for this feature. Creating a PivotGrid component is not in our immediate plans, but is a part of our long-term goal of matching the Kendo UI for jQuery suite in terms of components and functionalities.

We are tracking the feature requests, and try to estimate the customer demand and to prioritize accordingly when updating our roadmap.

Meanwhile, you can use the Kendo UI for jQuery widgets in an Angular application, as described in the following documentation article and sample project:

absolutely agree. I know the grid in general is what they say they are working on right now for kendo angular, but it isn't very clear on whether or not they are including the pivotgrid as part of that.

This will be useful to bring more interactive & dynamic drill down reports on the fly.
