Provide more examples on TreeView Editing - Adding a node, drag and drop a branch, updating a node information, deleting a node.
Although the Tree view is very powerful on displaying the tree structure, modifying it is very frustrating. We almost go for a separate module for maintaining the info. SOme examples here may be very helpful, especially for Kendo novices.3 votes
I guess, ability to disable some segments in Range Slider ('busy' segments) would be quite necessary.1 vote
A recent update added the Checkbox widget that uses a novel set of CSS and HTML elements to stylize the checkbox in the browser. This style is not automatically applied to the TreeView widget's checkboxes.
It would be very nice to have the TreeView checkboxes stylized to maintain a consistent look and feel across widgets:3 votes
Wondering why there still no feature request open about this, but here we go.
Add RTL support for mobile widgets. RTL it currently supported throughout Kendo UI Web, but not in Kendo Mobile.
Mobile Drawer should slide from the right, Mobile ListView currently has issues etc.1 vote

We have a use case where we are using ContextMenu with the following configuration:
Anchor being a button and on click of the button, context menu opens but the focus doesn't shift to it and remains still with the button.1 vote
We would like you add capability to Gantt chart control to handle time zones of the browsers. Currently, when Gantt chart control renders in browsers based in different time zones, it displays event start date/end date differently in each time zone no matter where the source code of the web application resides.4 votes
Possibility for the user created conditional formatting in the kendo grid. Column background color, text color, line background color, icon, etc, with user condition. There is an example https://jsfiddle.net/magomes/ptwbh0ec/11/, I didn´t work on the dialog layout, but that is the idea and maybe an initial solution.13 votes
Allow users to draw shapes and select markers on the maps to perform events.1 vote
Thanks for the proposal.
The autocomplete inorder to support search and at the bottome display all the results and the number of matched results,
there is need to footer template, like the facebook search autocomplete.1 vote
The current list of events associated with PDF creation of Gantt chart data is insufficient. In order to make this control production suitable the following PDF generation events/features would be needed:
1.- Ability to provide progress on the PDF file generation. Right now this can take minutes.
2.- Ability to cancel a PDF generation that is in progress. Right now this is not possible, but would be needed for lengthy operations.6 votes
Currently there is no way to tell when a new connection is created between two shapes. The add event is called when the connection line first appears on the screen, but there is no event to capture when the connection is made to another shape.
This would be extremely helpful when users are creating flow charts and assigning prerequisites by drawing connections.3 votes
Thanks for the suggestion, Josh.
When a grid has many columns, the column menu becomes difficult to use. This is because of two things: the columns are always in the order that they appear in the grid, and there is no support for templates/column grouping. The result is a long unordered list that is difficult for users to navigate quickly.
1) Add option to sort columns in alphabetic order in the column menu.
2) Add option to group columns either by data type or user-defined groups.29 votes
Given a pattern of "90:00", if someone types '2:' it will presently reject the ':'
What would be better is a pattern of "9?0:00" where the '?' indicates an optional character. Then if someone types "2:" it could recognize the optional character and automatically insert a space.
The same would apply for dates, e.g. "00/00/0000", would become "0?0/0?0/0000" and then you could type "2/4/2015" and it would insert the spaces
The benefit of this is that the user can see what format is expected but can also type in a faster manner1 vote
Thanks for the proposal.
Since this would require rather specific logic for masked textbox value parsing, you may consider using standard textbox and your own custom logic with appropriate regex definition. Also feel free to share your own implementation here, if you come up with such.
We could hardly support this behavior out-of-the-box.
Pressing <Enter> should save grid row edited in-line by default, even if it has a sub-grid. Currently, if a grid row does not have a sub-grid, pressing <Enter> saves it when edited in-line, but if it has a sub-grid, that sub-grid gets expanded instead. I think, this is a non-standard behaviour (can be set by specifying some new option, but not by default). If my suggestion will be implemented, it will allow to speed up data entry, because if user types in some text in a text box, it is easier and faster for him to press <Enter> rather that switch to the use of mouse.
Also, pressing <Esc> cancels editing in any case (with sub-grid or without), which is correct.

Expand Chrome Inspector to allow easy creation of DOJO. In the Inspector, we can see all the options as well as the data for the widget. The created DOJO should be simple (at least to start), meaning local data and all the options. At the very least, the Chrome Inspector should allow copying of the options and the data so pasting into a DOJO is as simple as possible.1 vote
The pager drop down page selector is too large and obscures other controls and the bottom of the pager frame.
I hope this observation is useful.
I have a screenshot but there is no facility here to post it.1 vote
This is odd since the pager dropdown should be optimized for usage on different screens and devices, Steve.
Can you reproduce the abnormality you observed on any of the online demos of the grid here: http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/grid/index
Also you can upload a screenshot in a public cloud or a shared drive and post a liaison to it in the comments section of this thread.
Thanks for the proposal, Jack.
For reference, the current list of touch events supported by our framework can be found here:
Thanks for this suggestion, Nihat.
Can you elaborate further and explain a sample scenario/use case, or provide a visual mockup where this functionality is applicable? Thanks.
