Enable unique filenames for MVC upload control
I would like to be able to be able to use unique filenames when uploading files asynchronous or maybe filnames based on GUID names

Hi,

This request is declined due to: 

1. Lack of demand;

2. The request is rather related to custom event handling and server-side interaction that related to unique file names. If there is anyone else interested in such behaviour, please contact us through a support ticket to get a more detailed answer on accomplishing the requirement.

Have you tried utilizing the files.name attribute (http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/javascript/ui/upload#configuration-files.name) to specify unique file names when uploading? Let us know whether this helps.
