Provide template/function to format slider values
Provide ability to custom format the range labels (using template AND function) so range slider can support Dates (e.g. "2/1", "3/1") as the increment labels.

Like Jose, I am looking for stepping in my range slider by month, so would like the labels to reflect this

values as tooltip we need to be able to giva a function that it's call as a the event slide a be able to return what ever we want show as a tooltip or values

I have a case of year as major and month as minor ticks. If custom template is available, then i can show both major and minor steps like in charts
