Add support to insert a video

It would be extremely nice if the "Insert Video" was added to the Editor. I know there are "hacks" and workarounds that make this possible, but it just doesn't have the right feeling to it. The editor in WordPress gives plenty more options to insert a video, and it's easier to use than the hacks/workarounds.

We do provide the ability to insert video content in the Editor even now. Please check the following KB article, demonstrating how this could be achieved with a custom tool:

For example, you can insert the following element:

<iframe width="420" height="315"
src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/tgbNymZ7vqY">
</iframe>

Also, let us know, should you expect something different and how exactly you prefer to see the Editor behaving.

My company uses kendo widgets extensively.

We have to provide rich content for our users and have to use CKEditor to capture video or youtube clips etc.

Would make sense for us to use as least third party tools as possible so yes in our case it would be extremely useful for the editor to offer the same functionality at CKEditor.

There has been little activity and just a few votes for this feature request, since it has been logged. We would like to know whether the community is interested in the implementation of video insertion capabilities in the Editor in 2020.
