Scheduler resources - choose which resource group to get the task color from (rather than the first index).
Proposal: Add a property/function that specifies the resource group to take the task's background color from.

I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but it would be nice if when grouping events by a resource that can have multiples, it would show the appropriate color for that resource in their grouped column. For example:

http://dojo.telerik.com/omEFOh/9

The "Interview" event belongs to both Bob and Charlie. It shows under each of their columns, but only Bob's color is shown for the event in both columns. I'd like the "Interview" event in Charlie's column to be rendered with his resource color.

Thanks for the proposal.

Note that you can specify the color via the resources configuration settings, as it is done for the rooms in this online demo:

http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/scheduler/resources

In case you create new tasks, you have the option to choose the color from the existing resources (rooms in this case) from the insert appointment dialog, as presented in the same example.

Let me know if I am missing something from your logic.

http://www.telerik.com/forums/scheduler---3-resource-groups-task-color

The colour of the task is currently picked up from the first index of the resources array. This restricts the order that the fields are displayed in the add/edit editor as well as makes the colours on further resources slightly redundant apart from engagement in the editor part.

I've ventured rather heavily into custom templates for the task view so I've skipped the limitations of my own argument, but to specify which resource controls that task colour and be able to toggle it in the view from room to employees and back again could be quite useful, albeit possibly confusing.

Is that clearer?
